The inaugural Global Talent Summit • Hong Kong (the Summit) was held on 7 and 8 May, 2024 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, aiming to showcase Hong Kong’s distinctive advantages of enjoying strong support of the Motherland and being closely connected to the world under “one country, two systems” as well as the charm of an international talent hub to the world.
The two-day event consists of three key components:

International Talent Forum Themed “The Power of Global Talent”, the Forum will explore global competition for talent and international mobility of the highly skilled from a macro perspective, and promote Hong Kong’s distinctive advantages and positioning as a global talent hub. |
8 May 2024
The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area High-quality Talent Development Conference The GBA Conference is jointly organised by the Labour and Welfare Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Talent Development Committee of the Macao SAR Government, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province and the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Guangdong Province. The first GBA Conference was held in Guangzhou last year. The GBA Conference aims to promote high-quality talent development in the Greater Bay Area and strengthen co-operation of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in talent attraction and development. The HKSAR Government proposes that a memorandum of co-operation be signed among Hong Kong, Macao and cities in the Greater Bay Area at the GBA Conference to establish synergy and strategy of high-quality talent development within the Greater Bay Area. |
